

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Candelario “Cande” Gomez, a beloved father and friend, who left this world peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the age of 77.
Candelario was a man of simplicity and kindness, finding true joy in helping others. His favorite place was the San Jose Senior Citizen Center, where he spent countless hours with his friends.
Born on February 2, 1947, Candelario was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Concepcion Gomez, his beloved spouse, Angela “Reyna” Franco, and his sons Jorge Gomez and Pedro Gomez. Though his family has suffered a profound loss, they take comfort in knowing that he lived a life full of love.
He is survived by his children: Maricela (Jose Luis) Gomez Guerrero of Guadalajara, Jalisco; Raul (Beatriz) Gomez Guerrero of Guadalajara, Jalisco; Miguel (Rosa Maria) Gomez Guerrero of Guadalajara, Jalisco; Felipe (Stormi) Juarez, JR, Hobbs NM; Anel (Chad) Zimmerman, Stafford, VA; Arnulfo Juarez, Phoenix, AZ; and Arinda Franco, Carlsbad, NM. 13 grandkids, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his unwavering spirit and kind heart.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at San Jose Catholic Church.
Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Candelario “Cande” Gómez, un querido padre y amigo, que dejó este mundo en paz el lunes 11 de noviembre de 2024, a la edad de 77 años.
Candelario era un hombre sencillo y bondadoso, que encontraba verdadera alegría al ayudar a los demás. Su lugar favorito era el Centro para Personas Mayores de San José, donde pasaba incontables horas con sus amigos.
Candelario, nacido el 2 de febrero de 1947, fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Florencio y Concepción Gómez, su amada esposa, Angela “Reyna” Franco, y sus hijos Jorge Gómez y Pedro Gómez. Aunque su familia ha sufrido una pérdida profunda, se sienten reconfortados al saber que vivió una vida llena de amor.

Henry “Reed” Price, 75, of Carlsbad, NM passed away in Lubbock, TX on November 4, 2024.
Cremation has taken place, and private family service will take place at a later date.
Henry was born to Ann Mae Wise and A.J. Price in Carlsbad, NM. Henry graduated from CHS in 1967. Reed married Belinda Fierro October 30, 1973 here in Carlsbad. He worked in the potash mines for a number of years. Reed drove a truck in the oil field for many years as well. He was a jack of all trades. Reed enjoyed the casino and working around the house. He loved spending time with family and his four-legged friend, Shell B.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Ann Wise, and A.J. Price; daughter, Kellie J. White; grandson, Matthew Carr; brothers: Arthur Scott Price and Steven Ray Price.
Henry is survived by his wife, Belinda Price; son, Arthur Price and wife, Shanna; grandchildren: Skyler Price, Kirsten Madron, Destiny Zehnal and husband Michael, Michael Carr, Michelle Lopez and husband, Atanacio, Jacob York; great grandchildren: Kendall “Kenny” Zehnal, Ellie Zehnal, Sawyer Lopez, Maylea Lopez, Wyatt Lopez, Elliott Lopez, Rosie Zehnal, Jesse Carr, Haley Carr, Jameson Coggins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
